Gur or jaggery is more effective in winters. So many sweets are prepare from gur. It keeps body warm in winter & no harmful for health. Chikki is a traditional sweet made by lots of dry fruits & sesame .

Ingredients and spices that need to be Make ready to make Chikki:

  1. 1/2 kg gur
  2. 3 tbsp ghee
  3. 200Ä£ram Almond, peanut, walnut & pumpkin seeds mix

Instructions to make to make Chikki

  1. Roast all chooped dry fruits without ghee for some time. Keep it aside. In same wok add ghee & roughly broken gur.
  2. Keep stir it counties, when gur melts in liquid form check it. Take a water bowl drop some gur in water then pull it if sticky then more cook.
  3. When its more hard or crispy it is ready. Now add roasted dry fruit in it & mix it very well & carefully. Now the time to make it any shape.
  4. I used moulds,fill it & garnish it with sesame & pumbkin seeds. Leave it for 1 hour for dry. When we want put out keep the mould in warm water.
  5. Before filled moulds, brush it with melted ghee proper. So that it easily move on. Beautiful & tasty dry fruits chikki is ready for serve.
