Andrew J. Brandt, author of Blue Handle Publishing, will be present at the first post-epidemic book signing at the Amerillo site at Barnes & Noble.

Live music planned at Starlight Canyon and elsewhere

Hillary Mary Presents recently announced its music and event schedule for 2022.

The Starlight Canyon Concert in the Canyon features live jazz on Tuesday nights, food trucks, BYOBs and seating, and free admission for kids. The Texas Panhandle student art exhibit will be on view at AMOA until May 13

The Texas Panhandle Student Art Exhibit (TPSAS), the year-end student art exhibit to recognize all of the talented young artists in the Texas Panhandle, is now on display through May 13 at the Amarillo Museum of Art.

The exhibition will consist of two parts: artwork for K-12 students and a portfolio of artwork for high school students. Teachers will post artwork from individual graduate portfolios, as well as individual student entries.

Eligible works of art on display include Amerillo College's 10 Professor of Art Awards for Best Performer, Best Performing Portfolio Award, Education Credit Union (ECU) Georgia O'Keefe Excellence in Arts and Creativity Award, Georgia High Schools and Schools.
